Re: Zippt Red and 'new' Tig Blue

I reckon you should have a nice quiet cup of tea and a lay down. You seem very angry about things. I mean, it's an extra piece of pipe. Do some trees types, or certain shaped clouds offend you? Do you get angry with everybody?

Re: Acknowledging other MX5's

Why so sniffy? I love them all from the 1 to the 4. Once the prices of the 3's drop i shall add to our fleet. I think the 4 returns the MX5 to it's original origins. Must have touched a nerve with you. Not my intention but there you go.

Acknowledging other MX5's

Being a friendly type of fella i always try to acknowledge other MX5's when i can and other mk1's seem to yield the most frequent waves back. Quite a few mk2's are the same but not as high a response rate. Mk3's seem to be the poorest in acknowledgement. Just wondering if it's the driver demographic...

I figured if the old stub fails i can do the tap mayself or better still simply change the thermostat housing for a new one and replace the cam belt and water pump at the same time. Al...

Re: Why cant all cars be as simple as an MX

Tell me about it mate. Makes no sense. And talking of keeping things simple i still have a set of upgrade bulbs for the X Type as the idea that you should be able to just pop the hood, unclip a light cover and change a bulb within two minutes seems to have been an alien concept to Jaguar. So many mo...

Re: Zippt Red and 'new' Tig Blue

So anyhow the infamous tee pipe stub broke (not surprised as it looks as if Tig has not been treated to proper coolant/antifreeze) aug 2016 238.jpg Thats not coffee. Thats 'coolant' water... When it broke i initially thought i would have to drill out the thermostat housing and cut a new thread for a...

Re: Vintage chl now

Do you think? I reckon there is a general truth in that but it should have been the eigthies for me as i really got into music in '79. All that spacey dark synth stuff, early (post disco) Human League, Gary Numan (who really got it so right and turned me onto music with his stuff from 78 until aroun...
