Re: Droop cables....
Lol, told you it was arcane ;-)
Droop cables are steel cables that restrict the downward travel on the wishbones, kinda like a one-way antiroll bar. It's old school tech - we still use them on top hats, HTCC the like.
Bit of an ask really but worth a punt!

please remember that if your spring is cut (I DO NOT condone this, sorry Wayne) it MUST maintain contact with the spring platforms at all times - eg when jacked up, or it's an MOT fail. Unless they've changed MOT regs, which I doubt edit: this is why http://automotivethinker.com/suspension/linear-vs...

Re: Bomb?
Hi, please remember that exhaust work is a supporting mod. By supporting I mean other elements within the same system - intake & full exhaust, with timing changes (!!) to see a little benefit
To get real benefits it's cams and head work + more

Fuel rail...
Menders; help! Anyone using an aftermarket fuel rail on a 1.8? I could use some suggestions please, preferably one that'll take AN-6 fittings, and with/without FPR mount but fab/mod isn't an issue.
