I also replaced the calipers on my mates 2003 1.8 and bled the system through with no problems, that like my 2.5 had abs!

I have no idea but I did a fluid change on my previous 1.6 mk2 and1.8 mk2.5 and everything worked as it should so closed or open I have no idea either way.

Maybe I just got lucky :bow-yellow:

Just spent £750.00 having our original cloth seats, completely refurbed and covered in black leather with red stitching to virtually match the old design and pattern and while we at it had door cards and gaitors made to match. So if I had a spare £1,000 that would go on a set of Miesters and a decat...

Fitted stainless steel systems to all of my mx5s to date and never had any fitting issues a bit of lateral thinking couldnt resolve, Only annoying issue I ever had was the one on our current mx catching the drive shaft, easily sorted by metal manipulation. Ours is still ready to go should conditions allow, however the minute the council start spreading the dreaded road salt hours before its needed and in time to create black ice, she will go into a gentle slumber next to the motorbike.

As far as I know you dont need to depressurise the fuel system, well I didnt anyway.
