Re: Dust boot changes
Thanks Wayne, much appreciated :text-thankyouyellow: I've got one on the way, so when you've got a moment to fill me in on the best way to use it, that would be great. By the way , if anyone else is looking for one of these, Amazon are selling them for £10.56 at the moment, which seems a bit of a ba...

Dust boot changes
I'm rapidly heading to MOT time (September) and I need to replace all the ball joint dust boots - they were an advisory last time and another year on them hasn't improved matters, though they haven't actually fully split yet, just surface cracking, so hopefully the joints are OK themselves. I've see...

Re: My '91 V-Special
Yep, definitely pleased :-) - these little cars do rather seem to take over all your spare time. Today I finally got round to giving the engine bay a bit of a spruce up - hot work in the sun, but satisfying. Followed the guide on here and used Frost's Chassis clean and a can of their spray degreaser...

Got a couple of weeks off soon and a full engine bay clean / underside clean / de-rust / Dinitrol everywhere is on the cards. It also...

Re: My '91 V-Special
First update for a bit, finally started getting some of my Jass / leather bits into the interior. Other than that, the car hasn't needed anything doing :handgestures-thumbup: and has been totally reliable as my winter daily driver. That's cursed it, of course! So, couple of pics of my leather covere...

Re: I'm not happy.. paint lacquer is peeling off :-(
I've just noticed a spot on top of one front wing on mine starting to go - is there anything that can be done to delay / stop the spread of this, or is that it once it starts?
