Jass Performance ND Seat Lowering Brackets
Hello Everyone, I hope you still remember me - the tall man in a small car:). I just recently finished (and I am quite happy with) the lowering kit for the ND (MK4), which I am willing to be able to present it in real at the National Rally. I still have my NC at the moment in UK and wont make it wit...

Re: Copy parts from a Seller on the Bay of E, be aware
Thanks Wayne. Clearly another one, who will never see an MX5 in his life, but wants to feed his children without going to work. Great factual article and warning, referencing for google the counterfeit business, his name and auctions. I should probably make here a topic warning about all illegal eBa...

Re: Beware of cheap copies
The story goes on, I was pointed out yesterday to this direct 1:1 copies (or maybe actual Jass product, as the photos certainly are!), sold under own brand. https://www.sandtler24.de/detail/index/sArticle/106811 Sandtler is one of the biggest tuning companies in Germany and its sad to see this going...

Re: Jass performance Mk 1 LED boot light
Cheers Wayne, amazing how-to as usual! I am sorry to have put you through the trouble of needing additional soldering (straight forward installation is the goal). The boot light kits are prepared with longer wire for a while now and I am afraid you have received for some reason an older version. Sor...

Re: Mk1 Eunos - upgrading single DIN headunit
I need to update this topic (just saw it now:)) - I did some more orders from Jass recently and the car interior changed to this now. http://forum.combustionpunks.co.uk/uploads/default/optimized/2X/7/741fee99e522ed66cf60fb43b075a980efbcd6bb_1_690x436.JPG Not that I havent seen her both ways, but alt...

Re: Seats defoaming - subwoofer out
OK, I have some update to this topic. As earlier mentioned, the seats were professionally defoamed (cant believe someone has more experience in this than me) to the maximum, but look just like new. Ordered a set of leather normal MK1 seats, that did not show up so just before Japfest and booked trac...

Seats defoaming - subwoofer out
Jass is now having an UK Eunos 1.6 limited 93 in a good body condition, an ex-OC car actually. Long story short though - while doing some initial maintenance, I tried fitting in it, but without much success. Defoamed the seats to the maximum, but its still very narrow and the reason is the build in ...

Re: ECU: CR from 8:1 to 10:1
Few years after and more impressions some feedback. I friend of mine repaired his MK2 1.8 engine to OEM specifications with only Mazda OEM parts and both cars are having the very same times up to 100mph /probably even after/. So its just 1.8 MK1 engine with high CR /10.6:1 estimated/ due pistons and...

Re: Universal Brake stopper for the Mk 1/2/2.5
Hi Pete, I learned quite many lessons from the first version - not only the left side and right side on MX5s are nothing like symmetrical, but there are least 7 versions of the brake stoppers for RHD only and lots for the LHD. It took quite a while to ensure the "universal" fits and it did...

Re: Universal Brake stopper for the Mk 1/2/2.5
Thanks, Wayne! Cant thank enough for the detailed review and video! Did not know about the first version with the shorter studs as well. Just to add from my experience so far - the more pre-tension applied to the cylinder/booster the more the brake feeling improves. That makes me believe that the ma...

Adjustable will work best of course if possible, as it will be universal for the 1.6 and 1.8s and work for forced and NA engines
