Re: Differential gasket leak

There is no reason it cannot be done while still on the roadster, just make sure you drain the oil, and once split make sure it is all clean and dry for the seal to stick and work, once re bolted back together, leave it over night to go off before re adding fresh oil.

Re: Fuel use

To be honest i just fill it , fire up and down the motorway, empty it, fill it and the fun starts all over again, never really clocked the miles per Ltr.
Interesting to see others results :coffee: .

Re: Differential gasket leak

Cracking the back off and splitting it is easy bud , make sure you drain the oil off first, clean it all up and fresh apply c*ck up seal and bolt everything back down, now we are taking about the case leaking here yes and not where the drive shafts connect?

Making a fluid catcher .......

There is no need to spend on fluid catch tubs. They are simple to make, easy to pour with, reusable and there are loads about. All you need is a old container 20/25/30 ltr etc and a cutting tool, grinder etc and eye protection.. So get your old container and wash it out first.... IMG_20190512_113207...

https://www.obd-codes.com/p2119
