sounds like the timing, or the cat is blocked,adjust the CAS and see if it makes a difference, if it does ,then you need to take a look at the crank key way, SNC systems.

Just so bry does not get upset....one of many..... Chris Holdens MK 2.5 1.8VVT that put up a Honorable fight to keep hold of stuff to come off.... Engine clean Water pump,timming belt, idler,tensioner and spring, rocker/ cams/crank ,etc seals All fresh hoses New rad Cooling system flush and back flu...

The last bits of the list to finish, this one being a new/better passenger side front wing, also both rear sills and arches , and a removal of surface rust , under seal/treat and all box section cavity waxed... A front wing as been found, striped right back ,hit with some treatment and sprayed satin...

I have a 91 imported Eunos Roadster, I was doing some cleaning in the boot and must have knocked a cable as I can no longer open the boot, the key turns. Iit it doesn't release and the internal release in centre console does nothing. Is there a simple way to release it a cable or behind the seats? ...

There is no risk of it falling off as the diff is bolted to the subframe , but the plates have seen better days.
