MK1 early seats for sale
Really nice pair of early one piece seats for sale, great condition no bolster wear, rips or tears. Selling on as i bought them for my post 1993 and they dont fit. Well, after an aborted day out yesterday due to the knocking......i believe i've solved the issue. IMG_20180521_110408.jpg Seems the strut top nuts need a washer, without it they torque up but not flush, hence leaving play, just a few mm but enough to knock. I assumed i'd fitted both sides the same ...

Thanks, re-torqued all nuts nothing loose. Top nut 46nm ? top mounts i never touched. Im sure its the top nut knocking....ive ordered a new one and washer just to rule out the nyloc one, but tbh it is at torque. Just noticed Halfords selling off NGK 20 Spark Plug (x4) BKR6E-11 £5 ...seems cheap for NGK just bought 2 sets...keep me going a few years
