Stange three :- was the brake service, the only thing that was missing was the anti rattle springs off the front pads and a good clean up,de surface rust ,file back where needed, and lube added metal to metal contact and protection ...copper grease, rubber sliders...red rubber grease...all freash br...

Stange two :- was service time, gearbox oil,diff oil, engine oil,oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, Aux belts....

water pump, alder ,tensioner and spring, cam seals, crank seal, rocker seal, timing belt ,5 yr collant....

Well I bit the bullet. Hub came off easily with a brutal attack from an eBay slide hammer, and the new one runs nice and true. The cable runs from the boot along the drivers sill in some trunking and to the HU, i would also try another HU, does everything else work to get noise out of it?
