Happy days...but i am sure the Mk2's came with a lights left on buzzer as standard any way...the jap imports did anyway..

Sounds like the handbrake light is going off and the dim light you are seeing is from the ABS warning light shining through...she is a Mk2.5 so the read fault codes you will need a OBD II reader which plugs in over your fuse box in the cab buddy.

I could also do with a clue as to were the illumination wire is for a MK2 ?? I seem to have the correct wire from the door switch, but there’s no plug anywhere near like the above photo. I’ve tried sticking the red wire in the back of most plugs under the dash, but can only get a door open alarm :l...

Been tied up with everyone elses roadsters so very little is moving.....i have fabricated a new diagnostic bracket to relocate to a better place, more on that later...i managed to deep clean the montana carpet ready for the full interior swap, removed all the sound deadening to clean and re stuck ba...

There is a chap that as just done this that i have contacted to post up and give you some info on it, i did try this attack many moons ago, and the once was enough.... personally i would just opted for the full aftermarket cable driven units and replace with the old units as they are so much better ...
