Starting with the drivers side, I removed the door cards and unclipped the wiring from the electric windows and the speaker, I poked them through the hole in the door removing the rubber protective tube between the inner wing and the door at the ...

Re: eunos is back

Busy week this week but I managed to paint the mirrors, I just masked them up, I painted the aluminium base with grey primer, then a red primer to match the plastic red primer. then painted all red, tricky to paint as you have to do it in stages. but I managed it, after 24 hours I gave them a coat o...

Re: eunos is back

Not much done , I have masked off and primed the mirrors, and I have moved the immobiliser switch. I am going to use the jdm switch as I think it fits in better and looks better than the other. to move the immobiliser,i marked off a hole further down and chain drilled and cut it out, and filed it to...

Re: eunos is back

rubbed down the mirrors today, one surprise, I never realised the base was aluminium casting, better than plastic. I dry rubbed inside where the mirrors were so as not to get water in there. ready for paint hopefully this week sometime.

Re: eunos is back

just a quick reminder to disconnect your battery before doing any electrical work. I always found it best to check things out on the bench first, then when you put it in the car you know its gonna work ok.
