Rubber Glove Tip

Postby Hamish » Sat May 18, 2013 10:23 pm

Good tip if you are working on brake calipers on the bench.

The brake line bolt has a hole in, so is no good for keeping dirt out, or any residual fluid leaking out. Cut the fingers of a rubber/garage glove, put some kitchen role in the finger and screw in the hole.

It can stay in there the whole time, even during painting. It will stay there until fitted back to car :handgestures-thumbup:

Very useful and saves your fresh paint from coming off at the back :)
