Worn caliper handbrake adjuster

Postby Mazda Mender » Sun Nov 01, 2015 11:36 am

Tip top....
When adjusting the rear handbrake with the splined allan key grub and you find the splines/teeth are warn smooth, there is no need to wait for a new adjuster grub to arrive, you can just cut the old one down to fresh splines/teeth and it will work fine again Choice is is yours on how you cut these down, i used some mole grips and a angle grinder, hack saw will do it, a vice is safest , and bench grinder is even safer still, just think safe peolpes....Before and after...
