Fitting mud gaurds to a MK 1 Mx 5 with a rear lip spoiler

I have been asked a few times to refit the rear spats (mud guards) to Mk 1's after fitting a rear lip spoiler, so this is a how to. I will add a PDF to print off as a template at a later date :handgestures-thumbup:

One template which can be used for both sides by just flipping it over...

Mark up the spat by using the template with a marker pen...

Now the cutting; straights and angle with the angle grinder, the Dremel for the L piece (note the straight cut front to back showing through).

Note the new cut from the straight cut which is on a angle. This is important for them to fit correct...

Once cut out you can finish the cut out with a file etc. to finish...
