MK 2 hood on a MK 1,,,,don't forget these to....

Postby Mazda Mender » Tue Nov 03, 2015 12:07 am

When owners fit a MK 2/2.5 frame and hood onto a Mk 1 they ALWAYS forget that they will also need these to, other wise when you drop the hood it will get caught and worn by the pinch bolts and over a short period of time WILL make a lovely hole on each side of the hood..

REMOVE,,,,,,,,,

The MK 1 hood/rain rail left and right holding brackets...

REPLACE WITH,,,,,,,,,,,,

The MK 2/2.5 hood/rain rail left and right holding brackets, note the extra piece which makes the hood fold away from the pinch bolt.....
