Hello from France

Postby Labelle » Thu Aug 24, 2017 4:28 pm

Hi. We are new members living in the south west of France. I recently bought (in the UK) a MX5 originally imported from Japan. It is a 1990 model and I believe is a "V Special" ( the garage where we bought it had no idea of the different models) with an automatic gearbox. It is painted BRG, has speakers in the headrests, chromed sill plates embossed "ROADSTER" electric windows and air conditioning. It has had at a later date, had the front bumper panel changed to look more like a Lotus Elan as well as added details along the sides.
I have owned a series of sportscars from a Spitfire through to a Caterham but my wife and I decided that we wanted more of a touring car as both retired this year and plan to visit all the regions of France.
