Looking for a mechanic and bodyshop in Bolton/Wigan area

Postby jimmac » Fri Apr 02, 2021 6:43 pm

Hi, I'm new here.

Looking for someone to do some work on my NC 3.5 that needs some work:

1. fix a transmission oil leak (leaks through at the brace),
2. fit a "front clutch cover" to the gearbox (that's what mazda call the part) - i have the part already,
3. investigate poor idle and stalling (it's a BBR turbo, not a standard map),
4. (optional but if available at same place) paint repair to plastic sill, de-rust and paint small area in arch before it gets worse, fix some stone chips,
5. investigate slight raspy rattle at 1500-2000 rpm under load.

I'm based in Bolton.

Please can anyone recommend an MX5 garage near Bolton/Wigan?
Is CBS Autos the closest option?

(Btw, I tried to click the mail icon to PM MazdaMender, but I don't have enough posts/rights to PM.
I also tried to clck the ... link under Contact but that redirects to mazda-mender.com which just comes up with "This site can't be reached",)

Thanks.
