Soon to be owner in South Wales

Postby MrNaish » Fri Feb 12, 2016 9:20 pm

Tomorrow morning I'm picking up my first MX5 from Kings Road garage in Berkhamsted..... 6 hour coach trip followed by a 3 hour drive home to get to know my little 1.6 import in silver.

First MX5 I had looked at and totally fell in love!

Need to do something about the wheels, but apart from that it appears 100% stock

Welcome to Menders. I`m sure it will be a worthwhile trip. :text-welcomewave:

My first 5 now resides in Scotland. The new owner flew down to Luton on Easyjet & drove it home!

Epic drive home, no explosions or bits Falling off.... Although very loud noise of wind all the way home but I thought... It's an MX5 of course it's noisy, got home and realised the softop wasn't done up on both sides!

Now parked outside the house, first job on the list is a decent steering wheel as the one it came with has been recovered very poorly..... Anyone have a wheel going spair or cheap in reasonable condition?
