New member, old car.....

Postby noisebod » Tue Apr 04, 2017 10:12 pm

Hi folks, new to the forum but owned my UK 1.8 MX5 for over 10years, in the NW (Warrington).

Been a great fun 2nd car when the space in the Volvo XC90 is not needed! Must confess to it being mostly a summer car with the odd track day thrown in.
My mate has a Caterham and swears by it but i'm sure I have as much fun in the MX.

Do most repair/maintenance work on it myself but to be honest it's not needed much, - the usual rear calipers, oxygen sensor and recently, a bit of lowerbody welding.

Keep up the good posts people.

Welcome to the menders. Do share pics of the car and some of the great memories you've made.

Never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level & beat you with experience, 5. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young!
