Hi from Dorset

Postby Jonah » Wed Dec 26, 2018 5:00 pm

Bought my first MX5 (2001 Mk2) earlier this year and instantly wished I'd bought one 20 years ago!! Could never understand what the attraction was until I got behind the wheel and found a strange fascination from inspecting lorry suspension components whilst hairing past them. The ultimate satisfaction though has to be spinning round the Dorset lanes at night with the top down - an explosion of the senses!!

However, it is now sat very stationary on the drive refusing to start hence the reason for joining the forum - here's hoping Santa brings me a late present in the form of an answer to my pride and joy's illness.

Didn't see your other post. Just about to read it and digest what you say. In the meantime, don't panic too much as the more super experienced menders might go the roundabout route but give them time and they will get you there.

Thanks for the messages guys. I'm convinced it's a easy fix but buried somewhere in the wonderful world of automotive electrical systems.
