Postby Ron_Tomo » Wed Aug 11, 2021 2:25 pm

Hi all, very hapy to be here.

My name is Ron, I’m from the North West (Chorley area). I've actually picked my Eunos uup in late 2017 for £800. Its been a rough ride to get it to where it is now but It's still a long way from done. Last week I managed to get it through its first MOT since July 2017. I enjoy it as a project and like to do everything myself where possible, although recently I have had to use the services of a Welder to fix the rear wheel arches and inner sills / rear battery tray (although it didn't go to plan), but we'll come to that another time. I was lucky enough to catch up with the mazda mender himself 'Wayne', who helped me out quite a bit with where I should be focusing my efforts in the short/ long term to get my little Roadster back to her former glory and enjoy what she has to offer. So I intend on starting a project buid thread and hopfull can help out others so they dont fall down the rabbit hole's I have soo far.

Any how, hi all.

Can I suggest you put up a few more posts, then you will be able to drag your photoes here, instead of a hosting service.

More than happy to GlennyGills, actually just back from getting some help with my soft top from Wayne (mazda mender). What a god send he was today cleared off alot of other issues with the car too, in just a few hours. Highlighting some key safety bits I need to get sorted ASAP. Many thanks Wayne (plkease send my thanks to your son also) have a good break and see you again soon.

That's the problem going to chat with Wayne, you end up with a shopping list of things to fix that he spotted from underneath his car when you came off the M6. :-)

He's most definetly got some X-ray eyes. He opened my bonnet and before it was an inch up he saw a loose hose, I've been staring at that engine bay for 2 and a half years and not seen it.
