Wow,
This is old school. But for some reason I like it better than the chat almost.. Like you have to consider what you are saying and write intelligent text rather than passing emoticons!
Anyway, I'm back on here because I find the forum better for finding technical information that's a bit more considered, grounded and detailed.
So... My 3rd MX5 I've ever owned is now a nice 1.6 Exclusive NBFL from 2003.. Right at end of the production of the NBFL so she's got all the nice bits like 16" wheels big brakes and a fancy canvas glass windowed hood .. Needs a little bit of patching on the front left jack point behind the sill.. Work in progress (by mx5sports.nl) here in Netherlands.
Shout out to Autolink who once kindly changed an engine on my previous Mk1 Eunos after the bottom end sh#t itself running too lean... YBA is now taken care of by a nice bloke in Scotland. Happy to own one once again!!! I'll be hunting for lessons in welding.
