Get it out of your system. Keep it clean'ish. It can be just about anything that has ragged you up, but please not about the OC. Leave their politics there.

The cost of using our cumunity tip

Postby pollyanna » Fri Jul 18, 2014 9:49 pm

Our local council has decided that taking rubble and plaster boards to our local tip is not household waste anymore, even tho' contractors do pay to tip their rubbish.
Our parrish council have recieved a letter from some numpty in the council that they will now charge house holders £2.50 for so many Kg of rubble etc. But you won't believe this, at the end of the letter he makes the comment that this will stop people fly tipping. What planet this pillock is living on god knows.

Thats how our council tax was 'frozen'....they decided to charge us for having our green (garden rubbish) bin emptied  apparently we are only allowed 6 bags of rnbble etc per (resrricted number of) visit. Bang goes recycling targets then!!

When my mother In law passed away my wife's father asked me to dump there bed after I got him a new one as it was upsetting to him. I loaded it in my van & took it to the local tip. They would not let me dump it as I was in a transit van. They told me they did not allow transit vans under whatever the reason. When I rang the council they said to leave it outside his house & they would pick it up in a few days. It don't end there when I explained the reason & said I'd leave it outside my house they said I couldn't as it did not Delong to me. Idiots. In the end I just left it out the front of my house & lied to them the next day
