Aberfeldy woes

Get it out of your system. Keep it clean'ish. It can be just about anything that has ragged you up, but please not about the OC. Leave their politics there.

Aberfeldy woes

Postby blackyb » Sun Aug 08, 2021 5:57 pm

Well, after a nice top down drive up north, the sun was again out this morning so top down and off we go.

A9 to Abefeldy then the 822 to Crieff.

Tinkle, bang whoosh whoosh whoosh.

A 6"x3" piece of Ali checker plate split the sidewall of the rear nearside tyre. Gutted tyres almost brand new.
Thank the lord that mk1s have a space saver spare as a bottle of gooo and air pump wouldn't have fixed it.

That road was busy and there must have been hundreds of cars using it but it had to be us that flicked it up and pop.

Thankfully kwikfit in Perth were open so a detour to face traffic chaos trying to get through Perth but the lads were quick and we were out in less than 15mins.

Budget tyre fitted till we get home then another Yokohama will be going on.

No where's that whiskey bottle.
