New headrest speakers how too.

Roy has just had his 21st Birthday and the headrest speakers were showing their age.
Having had a chat with Wayne I sent off for two sets of 4inch speakers.
First thing was to unzip the seat cover and hey presto the offending articles. One screw at the top and two at the bottom and ease the box out of the foam.
Wayne gave me struck't instrickshuns not to cut the cable but to ease the rubber grommet out and there will be a couple of inches of wire in there, now undo the four tiny screws from the front of the speaker and you will be able to dig the speaker out of its box. Hey presto there's the connectors you will need for your shiny new purchases.
Now comes the big cut, I broke the mounting tabs off the speakers on the outside so they didn't cut into the seat cover and marked it up for the fitting.
Cut the foam out a little at a time and you will uncover a virticle metal bar that the speaker magnet will attach itself too.
Try to get a snug fit, that's why I did a little cutting at a time, I also eased a little from the outside edge to make the speaker sit into the foam a bit more.
Now , you might find that there is a cover that it either plastic or nylon with holes drilled in it in an oblong shape and you have fitted round speakers so I drilled a few more holes in it to enable more sound to come through.
And there you have it, all back together sounding FANTASTIC!!!
Total cost £38.60 and 45 minutes max.
