Alternator out & put back in with the proper adjuster & bolts after losing them in France on the way home. Managed to do a temporary fix with cable ties to get me home.

Thanks yet again to Autolink for getting them to me so fast :text-thankyouyellow:

Fitted new plugs 'n leads to it, took it for a drive with the missus. Got followed back by a fellow Mx5'er called Tom who lives round the corner from me. [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Just spent the morning at a fortnightly Classic car show near Hartley Wintney, in Hampshire. I dared to leave the bonnet open for others to see the engine. I felt a bit exposed! Anyway, among all the MGs, Mustangs and E-types, there were 16 MX5s ranging from 1989 to almost new. So a good showing.

Sorry Flea I didn't think to take any pictures.
Here is a link to general pictures on the Website, we didn't get in the pics I am afraid. I spoke to the guy that organizes it and the plan is to put all the MX5s together next time. Then we should get some pics on the site.

http://www.whitelionantiques.co.uk/clas ... r-meeting/

I took a pic on my engine just now and will try and add it here. I've only started with cleaning it etc. Long way to go...
