Took the front bumper off and fitted (another) new front fog lights - hopefully these will not fill up with water!

Drove it to work and back, and this morning to took it to my local garage for a new clutch to be fitted as I I don't have decent facilities for working under a car for a long job at this time of year.

I've done 2 '5 clutch changes on axle stands in the past and have decided I'm too old for that kind of sh*t these days which is why I paid a local garage to do the clutch on mine back in the summer.

Yes 2.5, this is the third set of front fogs I have fitted, but they are a diffeerent model to the previous two sets and look to be much better sealedagainst the wet - so Ihave some hopes that these will last a bit longer!

I haven't done a clutch on a 2.5, but I have done other clutches on axle stands, and it is not a lot of fun at this time of year - and there is just too much to take off on the 2.5 before you can get the gearbox off, so I wussed out and sent it away! Should get it back this afternoon all being well. :-D

I did a Mk1 1.6 and a Mk2.5 1.8 Sport. The Mk1 was done on a dirt driveway and was zero fun despite it being a team affair with 5 of us working on it. On both we dropped the gearbox rather than lifting the engine & gearbox which would probably have been easier.

They are Mitsubishi Eclipse vents. eBay is the place to go, about £20.

Going to have a go at fixing cracks at the sides of my hood, you know the edges where the trim is stitched. Got some PU leather, strip 4 meters of it and a leather work needle. What could possibly go wrong?

Would these fit a Mk1?? :confusion-confused:
1993 1.6 Eunos Roadster (gone)
1998 UK Mk 2 1.6 (gone)
2003 1.8 SVT Sport (shouldnt have sold it)
1991 1.6 Eunos Roadster with a bit of bling.

Life is a journey, best travelled topless in an MX5!!
