Greetings and welcome to menders, this site was built for every owner that might need her to help keep those bills low and also keep them on the road where they belong, she is run by very passionate enthusiasts owners for passionate enthusiastic owners, see her like a on line garage, there is a lot of tech stuff hopefully explained for everyone to use, if there is something you cannot get your head around, or you feel that there is a strong walk through guide missing that needs creating by one of us or from yourselves, please let us know, we are also on false book and youtube, which as short tech vids to help, and again if you feel there is a vid that would help please get it touch.

What was the deal on the folding sunvisors ? which cars had them and why ? seems to be more the import cars that had them but not mine....just interested !

The Mk 2's did not have them either, personally i change them for the split ones as they are far easier to use, get some , they do make a difference.

Yep, with Wayne on that, have them on my MK2 and are a lot easier to use, and do not get in the way when putting the hood up.

Me too!

First thing i fitted to my Mk2.5 Sport. As Nick says they don`t get in the way of the hood catches & putting them half down cuts out the sun but you can still see where you are going....unlike with the UK visors.

So what where they standard on MK1 JDM cars ? but not UK cars...mines an import but has full visors

The later Mk 1 had them first with the up and over stalks for ref, imports to,which carried on into the MK 2/2.5 up to 2005 regardless of Jap market Roadster or UK spec Mx-5.
