My Concours Mk1 is back up For Sale again. The owner that purchased it from me in April 2015 has sold it on to a classic car dealer.

Always said you should have kept hold of her, she's a gem.

Wish I could afford to buy her, she would then have a long loving home.

I really enjoyed getting her to a spotless condition, it wasn't that difficult with 12k miles on the clock in 2009 when I purchased her. was great fun showing up and down the country from Scotland to Cornwall she went in a fully enclosed trailer then back home and into the air chamber ready to come out to the next show again. After a while I thought I'd sell her and get another fresh import to use as good road car with some suptle modifications. Even though the new Red un is not as pristine she does have more good points with the TB's and plated diff with the Meister's she is more fun on the road but nothing will ever come close to as "new" as the one and only "Red un"

Yes up and down my forestry track a few times and she would be well used. That would put a stop to the kept in "cotton wool deal".

As always everyone to their own!

I would love to be in a position where I could afford to own her and keep her as she is for showing for as long as I could, but reality is, finances don't permit.

Instead I keep my Blackbird in mint condition and do my best to keep the little red un in as good a condition as I can while still enjoying her as and when we can.

Each to their own or we would only have one car between the lot of us!!!

Well, I thought that was funny, but it could be the paint fumes from re-enamelling our bath!!

After an appearance in Zoom Zoom magazine in 2014 Mazda did say "I might just have the best MX-5 in the UK" not sure if that is where KGF Classics got the idea from as they also said it.
It is not just the hard work keeping her for showing but the storing in good dry controlled conditions, the constant detailing in keeping everything pristine something I think the last owner did not realise.
Hope she does go to a good home and is kept in the way she deserves.
