Mk1 suspension swap

Postby Mxmurray » Mon May 08, 2017 10:28 pm

Quick question or two, I'm building my mk1 so I can use it in classic trials so want as much ride height as possible, I know the mk2 suspension will fit.
Question 1 will both the mk2 and the 2. 5 suspension fit my mk1?
Question 2 are the Bilstein shocks really as hard as everyone says?

MK 2/2.5 billies are not as hard as the MK 1 versions but sturdy, and they last for ever MK 2/2.5 billies are a straight fit to a MK 1 and will sit high because of the spring rate of the MK 2/2.5 set up, if you need a set i do have some bud.
