Lambda sensors

Postby DaveBoyd39 » Mon Aug 21, 2017 7:38 am

Just about to buy a decat pipe and a stainless steel long centre branch manifold for my 1992 Eunos, noticed there does not seem to be anywhere on the new pipes for the sensors? Can I by pass the sensors or do I need to have them fitted for ECU to work? Any advice appreciated

You do need an O2/lambda sensor.

O2 sensor is or should be on the manifold on a mk1 so cat and after mid section is fine to be replaced...the Eunos sensor on the cat is a heat sensor so is fine to be unpluged and removed....the mk2.5 as two sensors pre cat and after...
Yours will be fine on test de-cated tell them it is an import and needs to be tested as such.
