Postby Chris0H » Wed May 22, 2019 9:36 pm

Hi Guys,

posted this on fb with some interesting results...

Currently having a bit of a chill part to the year, so i have been driving very nicely mainly.... lol

Just the other week in my R reg mx5 mk1, after the track day at Leeds and a good service, driving like a gran got 430 ish miles on one tank, it was £53 quid to fill up but yeah!

Anyone had something similar?

Cheers Chris

To be honest i just fill it , fire up and down the motorway, empty it, fill it and the fun starts all over again, never really clocked the miles per Ltr.
Interesting to see others results :coffee: .

I'm a bit like Mm. Don't really look into the mpg side of things as my style of driving differs each time but last year while touring around Scotland we were getting mid to high 30s.
Going back up north later this year so will take a closer look t the mpg (miles per grin)
1993 1.6 Eunos Roadster (gone)
1998 UK Mk 2 1.6 (gone)
2003 1.8 SVT Sport (shouldnt have sold it)
1991 1.6 Eunos Roadster with a bit of bling.

With just over 13 years use - recorded on Fuelly.com - just because I find it interesting, I have driven 109000 miles in ine, with an average of 36.7 mpg, and a best of 47.3 (on a long steady run on the motorway) - and a total cost (in fuel alone) of £17,700!
