Spoke to nice young lady on reception, "Not sure if I need parts or service for this but my shipping bungs aer missing from my 2018 MX5"
"ill put you thru to parts"
After a shoort pause
"Hello parts"
"Hi I am hoping you can help, the shipping bungs are missing from my MX5"
The phone goes a bit muffled as he puts his hand over the mic on the phone.....
"We, ot a bloke ''ere wants to know if we got any bungs for his Mazda, he thinks he's got a washing machine"
He comes back to me
"What sort of bungs do you mean?"
I explain they go in the chassis rails 13" in front of the rear wheels 4" in from the sides of the car.
"nah we aint got nothing like that!!"
I also tell him I heard what he. said when he thought he had covered the phone.. I then asked him to put me thru to service.
"Cant do that mate""
"I'm not your mate" Put phone down.

Call up customer relations, at Head office, after saying she was appalled with what had transpired, she offered to put me thru to another dealer, the one I bought the car from, Magna, in Poole.

After ba short pleasant chat. He offered to speak to hi s chief technician and call me back. Five mins later. He calls back.
"I'll put some in the post"
"Thanks a lot"

Well which ever dealership "our mate" is from, does not say much for the standards and i hope he gets his ar*e kicked and dragged away from dealing with customers direct..
