Ok time to close this thread.....car collected, thrashed all the way home to Wakefield.......

Just to say, i extremley pleased with Ste/Autolines work the car has come out better than even i could have expected it really does look like a new car. The quality is superb, stonechipping, black sill line, no overspary, i think anyone would be hard pressed to see it's even been "repaired". So even though you can't see where the money went, i'll always know !

Thanks also for posting the pcitures. Your services Sir come top of the class !! :handgestures-thumbup:

Ps. Wayne i tried to find your house again to bob in but failed miserably !!

Thanks for the kind words Wayne, it was a pleasure working on your car, yet another mx5 saved from the rot just remember to keep on top of wax oil in the sill and chassis

Well what a day.....went back to see Ste, just had a slight issue with the boot lid. Ste came up trumps 9as he said he would) and sorted it within 30 mins or so, along with a free coffee. So another big thumbs up to Autoline !

However.......my car broke down !!!!! Was low on fuel about 20 miles from home, so pulled into the services. Bobbed ÂŁ20 in, all was well, by time i had reached home car would hardly run..coughing, farting, misfiring....double checked reciept, defo unleaded....how odd.

Guessed either, spark or fuel stavation...so bought new ht leads, plugs and a fuel filter, stupidly changed all three at same time..now runs sweet again...how odd.

One thing i did notice, front plug was black and sooty, other 3 we're pink/red ???? wtf ??

Suggestions please......

My pleasure mate, was to good to see you again and catch up, and the Mx5 is still gleaming, as for the car upset on the way home I'll bet it was just ht leads

Ste,
Any chance you are looking to expand out of Wiggin and setting up "darn sarf", as my car is need of some urgent TLC (viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1853)
