Mazda G-Ltd Automatic - Wayne's Build No 12

Postby goodwoodmx5 » Thu Sep 09, 2021 4:25 pm

Wayne has asked me to take care of the marketing of his recently renovated Eunos G-Ltd Automatic as seen on his blog here: https://www.mazdamenders.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=7066
Its now with me at Goodwood Sportscars in Berwick upon Tweed where it can be viewed by appointment.

Like many of you, I have been following Wayne's build thread on this one with interest. The big question is: is the car really as good as it sounds? Well I have now had the chance to drive it on a long trip (motorways, fast A roads and some brilliant winding B roads) and its just excellent. I have also had a seriously good look over the car and the attention to detail is as good as you might have expected. The car has been set up with the aim of being simply terrific to drive. Performance is good and the handling is typical MX5 ie very good indeed. This is a car you could easily use as a daily driver but feels special enough to save for weekends and holidays.

Its quite strong money at ÂŁ6995 but I don't think many people could renovate and set up a car to this standard for much less than the asking price. You'll already know just how many hours Wayne has put into this.

She was bought to be sorted and used for the whole family as a sorted a back up car in case there was a problem with any to be sorted, I ended up sorting her and using her myself as I was coming out of a horrible situation of pulling some discs in my back ,I set her up to be a lovely car to drive as with me it all about how they feel, when they are set up correct you don't drive one ,you put it on, you wear it...so she went like a stabbed rat, but the ride was lovely and controlled with the alignment settings I got locked in which made her true and dead straight but fun time in the corners .
The suspicion was changed because she is set up to be a road or motorway roadster and she does deliver in all the right areas as I intended he to be.
I am sorry to see her go as she as been in the threads of my personal life for me to of used her, I just hope the next owner carries on off loading some love and passion into her as she so rightly deserves and that that do keep me up to date, good luck on your next journey Mel B.
