Gearstick nylon and metal washer

Postby Hugeness » Sat Jul 01, 2017 11:37 am

I don't suppose anyone has got one of these handy in the Wigan area? I've just started to change the shift boots and the metal clip that goes on the nylon washer/spacer is broken. Typical! I've got everything I need apart from that. Seems a shame t o put it back together without only to have to take it all apart again in the week to replace it. Grrr should have thought ahead and got one, can't use the car now... bugger!

I sorted it mate... ordered one from Autolink (surprised I managed to find one!)
I ended up putting it all back together without the metal clip so I could use the car this w'end, I'm not letting a sunny Sunday go without a drive! Thanks a lot for having a root about though mate.

I'll do it again one evening this week when it comes.

ENERYONE: You can get theses wave washers from...

Hopefully that link will work;-)
So, Gearshift done, fog light done, slow windows done, stereo with phone done, engine gearbox and diff oil done, DAB aerial done.
Main thing now is suspension, which to be honest is spoiling the ride. It's bouncing and shaking all over the place as the shocks are completely knackerd.
