...on the offchance someone in here has heard of these arcane devices, has anyone run and more importantly for me, found good mounting points for them??

(It's a big ask I know)

Lol, told you it was arcane ;-)
Droop cables are steel cables that restrict the downward travel on the wishbones, kinda like a one-way antiroll bar. It's old school tech - we still use them on top hats, HTCC the like.
Bit of an ask really but worth a punt!
