So, should really bring this up to date  been distracted elsewhere...

Image

:handgestures-thumbup: ...so apologies for that!

I'll post up pics I have to date first

We're now fully green...

Image

Image

we have fire...

Image

Image

Image

Image

we have instrumentation...

Image

Image

(A mk.2 version of the tombstone is in work now)

we have a source of leccy voodoo...

Image

(the leccy pipes are being made at the mo)

we have means to supply gas...

Image

Image

some safety gear...

Image

The big issue to date has been the engine. Total nightmare. The biggest lesson has been to check what people supply you straight away - lest you get into the realms of modding brand new parts just to fit or get what you wanted in the first place, and all the knock-ons that go with it  Anyhow, it's nearly there, a few weeks with luck so pics of that loveliness shortly I hope.
I'm going to go a bit light on engine details in here from now on, as there are a few instances which have come up recently which remind me that I need to keep an edge - this is for competition after all, and I can't be a no-tricks wizard
As the weather is a pile of ar*e, the car itself (who has moved house four times now) will be disinterred, or at least dug out this weekend ready for some actual work next. The electrician needs the dash, tombstone, ECU and a few other odds so that he can crack on - he's making a mockup 5 in his living room to wire it all up in the warm!! :handgestures-thumbup:

More to follow then, and thanks for keeping in touch. Also thanks to those who've kept kicking (you know who you are :handgestures-thumbup: ) and happy new year all!! :obscene-drinkingcheers:

B

p.s. I need a windscreen! South west, supply only is fine; I can get one for ÂŁ75 but it's in feckin' Leeds and I'm very not in Leeds!!! Anyone help??

Hi Ben,

Guess I'll be getting some kind of sarcasm about my thread too tonight :-) . Good to see you back. I love that dashboard. I'm still messing about making a KG Works style dash but with CF ABS and all black trim bits. If I can ever find everything I need.

Keep up the good work.
