This is what I am doing with the white vinyl.... side stripes and a roundel with the number 19. This will go along the bottom of the door with the roundel on the rear wing just ahead of the rear wheel arch. Crude picture but you get the idea...

Image

I am respraying the whole car and will be painting the sills the classic red instead of the black they are now.
Regards, Hammy.

Blimey what a hand shaking fiddly job it is doing the dials. First problem - getting the needles off.... trembling with fear I eventually managed to get them off.....scary stuff.

Moving on, did a trial fit of two of the gauges just to see and hook up 12v to the ILL on the back of the binnacle. Need to make some adjustments as the dials start at 6 o'clock instead of 8-ish.

Some pics... got the correct texture I was after. Will do final fit when I have a steady enough hand to cut out all the dials. Got plenty printed - which is a good thing!! These are just trial dials...

If you can do something similar in yellow/black I would be interested. Alternatively if you are willing to share the templates I could sort my own out of course.
