Been a bit of a while since an update on here.....mainly because there's not been much to report!!

But now there is, so.....

First up she passed her mot today. Huge sigh of relief!

Secondly had the tyres swapped over to the original alloys I'd had a go at refurbing myself. I'm pleased with the outcome.

Also fitted some clear side repeaters....also pleased with the look.

Next up, new roof and sorting the stereo out. And I really need to sort the gear N*b out for something more original!!

That's all for now!

I've got the original one Wayne but the plastic inner bit has no thread on it (looks like its been glued in at some point too).

If there's any way of re-using it that would be good!

Front splitter fitted and lights slightly smoked! Need some chrome bulbs to get rid of the orange (I've already removed the reflectors).

Off around North Wales with my best mate in his mr2 in June so need hood sorting before then. Figuring out merits of mohair vs vinyl and glass vs plastic rear screen

Thought you were calling today buddy?, as for the hood it is all down to budget and how and when you will be using her.

Long overdue update, but sadly because I've decided to sell her. I've done 1600 miles since buying (20 months), and when you work out the cost per mile, it's just not worth the expense. Young family, house and long work hours mean I don't drive it, haven't worked on it like I thought I would. And the money from selling will be better used elsewhere.

Just MOT'd her, and passed with no advisory's.

Used her for a lovely road trip with my best mate last summer (who has an mr2) through Wales (South to North) to the Evo triangle. Car peformed faultlessly

Anyway, new hood fitted by Wayne last August. I put a new Mazda battery in it too.

Nice motor, shame you are having to let her go, hopefully to a good home, my garage would be ideal but not sure the wife would agree.

Oooh! Love the car and the work carried out by Wayne. Too bad my wife.would leave me if I bought another car or I'd have had this one (always wanted a BBR).
