Hi, originally from the States. However, they were poor copies of some originals: when I came to fit them they didn’t have the correct radius to fit the crash pad and had gaps in the sides. I wasn’t happy with them so shelved them for a while.

I have now modified one to the correct profile and I think the fit is good. I then made a mould and have since cast these three in polyurethane resin. They come out white but take aerosol paint well. My ones are are sprayed in satin black.

The resin costs ÂŁ12.50 +vat, if your interested and happy to cover the cost of the resin and postage I could cast you one.

Just PM me.

I’m planning on fitting oil temp, volts and a clock to mine.

Loving the dash and the dash pods look great, i want to do the same to mine (one day) but finding them are quite difficult now, i know Russel Moulder use to do them but not sure if he does any more (not sure if thats the correct spelling of his name and i cannot for the life of me remember his company name)

so double thumbs up from me

I had one of those mirrors...it never sat tight and always vibrated ...removed it in the end and just refitted the zoom one...join mazda menders tech help group and post it up in there John...
It can get confusing with the tech group, social group and buy and sell group all separate including mazda mender public profile page on FB and also on you tube...
I prefere it in here, always have ..FB is draining and full of to many wanting to prove something and be popular.

Wayne yes worried about the potential vibration, I have a small suction cup that fits onto the centre bar (not on photos) so will see how that goes.

Then time to refit the engine. New engine mount rubbers ordered so it seemed only right to paint the mounting brackets.

All mine have taken a back burner while i sorted everyone elses this year which was all condensed thanks to China virus...looking forward to some kind of normality next year with just weekends again so my own can now get finished and more guides built and finished...i have been commissioned to undertake a full hit on a Mk1 BBR front to back, top to bottom ,so that will be in for a build thread next year, then up for sale...S/spec to get a full hit of paint, and up for sale, Ashleigh's welding done, undersealing and box sections done, electrics finished and in for full paint of deep candy red,.my black Mk2.1/4 built and in for paint, and the blue VS sorted and in for paint, daryls getting a very nice colour hit also, i am sure that will be liked, garage and out buildings sorted...busy year, and thats just my own...(except for the BBR)....but i am always looking for the special one to hit and save, as i have a very nice 25,000 mile VVT waiting to be planeted into a project MK1 at some point and a guide on how to fit one and get the VVT all working as it all should .

I have put loads of jobs on the back burner for 2020.

One was to get Wayne to give her a full on Menders service ready for a trip to my mate who lives in Italy. That's been put back till later next year as had the service.

Would love to have a project but just don't have the room at home or the finances now covid has cost me my job.

So I have to admire other people's work with a bit of envy.
