This is a tasty build.
1. A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, 2. Resale wont save your life in an accident, 3. Genius has limits, stupidity has none, 4. An up date, but Number 1 son needs to fill in all the missing stuff up until this post grrr
Made up a s/steel back plate for the off set number plate, and fitted Jass performance rear light cluster covers, and fettled the maintenance raise switch to fit the MK 2/2.5 dash in his MK 1....

Quite a bit has happened since last update. The engine was flushed and oil/filter changed.
Rear bumper was sprayed and refitted.
Zoom engineering headlight lids were fitted.
New RS Aizawa nosecone was fitted.
I'd like to thank my parents for getting the headlight lids and nosecone sprayed for me. As well as to Ste over at Fat Fenders for doing such a fantastic job in repairing the damaged nosecone. As well as a thank you to Chris Gibson for picking up the nosecone from the initial seller while I arranged collection. Before pics of nosecone below:

We also changed the rear light clusters for some half LED units...replaced the handbrake lever cable,sorted water leaks through the door membranes and speaker holes,..fitted a Mk2.5 mohair hood skin and frame..

So update...
Myself and my lad Daryl attacked his for some well needed revamp.....
Full service, water pump,belts and seals, engine flush, coolant flush, alignment bolts all removed ,greased and put back, undersealing checked and addressed where needed, 10mm spacers fitted , battery mat and fresh isolator switch , inner workings of the doors sorted, 1/5 light/window guide channel removed , stripped ,painted and re fitted, cavity wax injected into everything, rear caliper changed and system bled, handbrake set, Diff and gear oils changed, Magnecor HT leads were a real let down in quality When the centre pulled free from the inner cable and stayed stuck to the spark plug, just over 12 months old, very poor, and a few other bits i cannot remember at the minute..

I was starting to think you had become a hermit, but should have known you would be under an MX and in the Bat Cave. Top work as usual.

Made up a new bracket for a hydraulic boot lifter kit, we had fitted one of the kits to the passenger side, but the boot wing was to heavy and it was struggling with one with the OE boot spring , so we ordered another kit , but they are only made to be installed on the passenger side, hence the need the make another bracket to fit it on the drivers side, so all made , on and done, and working a treat now ...

Made up some brackets for the aftermarket cooling fans, fitted, wired in and tested that they suck air and not blow air to the alloy rad, fitted because of space lost with the wider alloy rad, and sorted the aftermarket temp sensor/gauge, sensor was playing up...
