Because it is a build thread for references at a later date, everything will be added ...
I am also trying to save as many of the Original bolt hole threads as i can, i have only lost 4 to be drilled out and re-tapped which i expected from removing the undertray..
When trying to remove the front air guide the two 10mm head bolts on either side were not playing nice, i managed to get them half way out before the rust on the thread took an hold and start to twist that thin metal bracket, so i got the bolt head off flat and with mole/vise grips turned the studs that was left out from the top/back, thread saved and brackets, i also noticed that one of the earth point block cases was broken and with cutting off the bolt down bracket for the passenger side decided to swap out for newer items, luckily i had a old loom knocking about so removed them from that to the roadster after a quick clean up....
Thats as far as i got as the sky decided to start crying and stop play...

Well after the engine bay clean, she became a none starter???, flash code test gave me nothing but "all good ...nothing to see here"???? so the challenge was excepted and the start of swapping sensors started Checked ECU for water...no...coil pack....no...cam sensor....no...crank sensor...no...AFM...no, all relays....no ...all fuses.....no...i most state at this point i did check for fuel and spark first...I bridged the fuel pump just in case it was low fuel pressure...no....the only thing i had done was an engine clean and changed the spark plugs...so i went through every plug and socket/connection with an air line...no....changed the brand new spark plugs for another new set,,,and fired on the button????
Everyday is a learning day....

So the bug of getting rid of surface rust on all the brackets etc kicked in, so in the zone to finish all the engine bay stuff to move onto the body work again, also found that she will need a drivers front wing so another bit to the ever growing list...
Any way here is the attack of de-rusting , spraying and re adding, it's going to take some time just doing all this lot, but done is done, and done right...
So i noticed the horn brackets, removed them ,split them, cleaned them up....

Few more engine bay brackets done (thanks to Matthew Lambert for spares to paint and swap out) in between doing others mazsters, stripping Andreys Mazster , weather, work etc, every little helps....
As much as it does not look like a lot , you would not believe the amount of time these things take, but it is a build so every thing needs to be added to this thread as a reference for further down the line....
Sorry but pictures need to be viewed from bottom to top ......
