Jeffs Mk 1 NA 95 1.8 Eunos Roadster
I met Jeff middle of last year with his MK 1 and had a lengthy discussion about what he felt was needed and wanted for his passion one of the points being the suspension that was leaning on one side at the rear and also being a very harsh ride ...
So to the suspension that was removed ...these were cheap nasty Bay of E specials which have gone straight in the bin...
Still sat on Axle stands waiting for the new Meisters to be fitted tonight, pics on that to follow...

Ok, where to begin?
Meet “Mabel” (yes, it’s got a name but it wasn’t me, it was the kids) a 1995 1.8.
You’ve already seen what MM has been up to in part with the suspension but more has been done over the past year. I’m sorting out a number of photos to upload and I’ll get them up over the bank holiday weekend hopefully, for those that are interested.
Unfortunately I’ve not got photos of the front wheel in flames as I was busy running for water - more to follow....

Next Job is Cam angle O Ring as that is definitely leaking, found by MM.
Booked in for alignment at Moons Toyota yesterday so off I toddle. Drop car off and go for a walk to the shops at Robin park, which it turn out is further than you think!
About an hour and a bit later I get back to Moons to find it parked next to the bays... Oh Dear, car is too low to get on the ramps!!
I have to say the lads at Moons are brilliant!
He explained that they’re not giving up! The bloke (and I’m really sorry but I’ve forgot his name) told me to bring it back next week and leave it for the day. He’s going to knock up some long extensions out of wood to try and get it on the ramps!
They took me around to the ramps and showed me the issues.
I’m blown away... They frankly are going above and beyond what you normally expect. Most people would have just said “No can do”
I can really vouch for them, they were really chatty, told me the issues, and were genuinely really top folks... highly recommended.
TBH I might have to raise it a bit as I’ve been getting a few bottoming out issues what with it setting, and me being a fatso!
Plus, when I drive it, I do tend to cane it a bit and I’m running out of springs in depressions lol!
Might have to lift it 20mm and put a touch of pre-load in.
More coming...

Next was to upgrade, well, in actual fact replace all the dash lights as none were workings. All the bulbs bar 2 had failed.
The search began for the correct LEDs.

Next and quite important as you can’t really get away with using your phone with the top down was some kind of hands free system. This was on offer for just less than £100 from Halfords. Comes with USB, Bluetooth for two phones, DAB, Spotify, a microphone and removable front, changeable colours, auto answer full phone book sync... Bloody great value!

This is a temporary solution as I don’t like the look and I believe you can now get a splitter which uses the existing ariel, which has now been fixed, greased and now works

Anyone got any ideas on upgrading the fear light cluster? I want to keep the look but improve the lights, it’s good to be seen in a small car running like a skateboard
I did buy some led rear bulbs but they just stayed on the brake strength all the time. Fitting a capacitor is a bit beyond me?
Also, the fitting is a bit weird offset pins thing???
