Phoenix's blue Arctic

Postby Phoenix » Thu Aug 09, 2018 7:23 pm

Have been promising myself one of these for years & finally got one after having to give up motorcycling. It's basically very clean, the previous owner having had spent a lot on welding work though not to the chassis rails that i suspect will need doing before the next mot. Apart from that just needs a few minor cosmetics, have made a bit of a start already..........

She looks nice and tidy. Get under the front and get the under tray off and have a good peek at the front chassis rails. Dont despair if they are not in good fettle as Mm will tell you, there is a fix and its not too costly.

I suspect they will need doing before the next mot. I have seen the repair sections but what kind of total cost are we looking at. I think it best to have them done before mot time so it doesn't show on the history file.

Well it got through the mot OK with no significant problems so i'm happy about that but I suspect they will need doing before the next one. But maybe that is something i need not worry about too much as the car will outlast me but That's another story.
