1993 S-Special Replacement Hood

After the stitching gave way around my vinyl hood with plastic window I decided it was time for a HRW mohair replacement.

I've gone for a Mk 2.5 complete with frame and rain rail from Prestige Spares UK.

Here it is! Not quite finished...need to fit the three metal retaining rails (undergoing renovation) and complete final reassembly of all the other bits removed to do the project.

Not quite the direct replacement "plug & play" as often suggested, but slowly getting there.

Very pleased so far.

You need to fit the MK2/2.5 retainer bars also to go with the hood, not the MK1 bars.

This is a job I have planned for our 91 Eunos, but as and when it might be a trip to Royal Wiganshire.
1993 1.6 Eunos Roadster (gone)
1998 UK Mk 2 1.6 (gone)
2003 1.8 SVT Sport (shouldnt have sold it)
1991 1.6 Eunos Roadster with a bit of bling.

Life is a journey, best travelled topless in an MX5!!
