Suspension swap - other recommended parts to renew

Postby Wardy » Wed Jul 04, 2018 5:01 pm

I'm replacing my ageing Bilstein setup with a new Gaz fixed height coilover setup (yes I did ponder this for some time, but they were well priced and I could justify the same cost again on Meisters!)

What else should I realistically replace while I'm doing this? I have some new bumpstops to go on, but are there other bolts etc that I should renew?

I'm also thinking about bushes, but don't really want to shell out £300-odd on new bushes! (using the IL kit from MX5Parts as an example).

Cheers,
Steve.

They are, but I'm thinking of associated parts while I'm swapping the units really.

Then nothing really unless items are worn ? you might need two new split pins when you split the uprights at the front....check your drop links, and front dust boots.....
