Bonnet catch wearing away

Postby GlennyGills » Mon Apr 14, 2014 5:36 pm

I have had a squeaky car for quite sometime now. I have justtraced it to the Bonnet catch. I now see that the catch is wearing through.

How and where do I adjust it.

Oof...that's quite deteriorated.

The only safe answer it to replace that. Bonnet catches are not to be messed with.

Adjust the catch/latch at the slam panel by way of the twp 10mm bllts at the top and the 10mm nut at the bottom , dead easy to do.
