Looking well past it best and leaking slightly at the bottom so going to have a go changing it myself.
Apart from the rad and coolant anything else i am likely to need/break while doing it? Bolts, screws, etc?
Hoses look in good nick so not likely to change them but rad cap is well knackered so have one of them on the list
What you put in, you'll get back ten fold

Radiator change time
Re: Radiator change time
If you're doing the rad, cap & coolant then I'd also change the thermostat.
Make sure you use a coolant flush as it moves a lot of the old crud that gets stuck in the block.

Re: Radiator change time
Cheers guys both bits on the list, along with 2 fan bottom bolt which have rusted to nothing.
As a query, can the rad be removed with the fan still attached or are the bottom bolts attached to the car not rad?
Basically would rather faff around with removing the rusty bolts on the bench.
