Aircon check

Postby mk1divemaster » Tue Jun 05, 2018 7:45 am

Hi all ,
Had my eunos 6 years but never had aircon checked, it hasn't worked since I bought it though. Is there a way of checking that there is gas/liquid in the system? I've ordered the necessary adapters off eBay to change it from r12 to r134 so I can top up.
But not sure if there's the old stuff in system. Please any advise would help as I would like to get it up and running with this great weather we are having! :confusion-confused:

If the old is all out then it is ok to re-gas with the new, you can run a leak tester/fix first depending on which kit you buy.
